Starting with a pixel, discover what it means to digitize a photo.  Learn archival digitizing standards and how these standards translate into the dpi (resolution) you need for each individual photo. Photo care, scanners, hiring it out, and tips and tricks to streamline the process will be discussed so you can proceed with increased confidence.

As a child of professional genealogists, Peggy Ash has been around genealogy for most of her life. She acquired the Boston University Certificate in Genealogical Research in 2018 and has certificates from 4 courses at the Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh and 7 certificates from courses at the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy. She has participated in many other conferences and courses. Peggy is a professional genealogical speaker and has done presentations around the state of Arizona. Currently, she is working on accreditation with the International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists. She has been specializing in memory preservation for 30 years.
