Denise Crawford was born in Fort Bragg, California, lived in six states, has resided in Arizona since 1980 and now spends her summers in western Montana. She has been actively researching her family since 1993.  Denise was on the staff at the Mesa FamilySearch Library from October 2001 until it closed in September 2018.  She is a member of the New England Historic Genealogical Society, New York Biographical and Genealogical Society and First Families of Knox County, Ohio. Her favorite state to research is upstate New York. Her favorite website is Find A Grave – where she spends many hours creating & linking memorials, contributing tombstone photos and obituaries.
