We will go over the basic mechanics for FamilySearch memories, but most of this discussion will focus on how to use memories that have already been uploaded. Applying the knowledge we collect is a critical part of doing family history.

Makenna Knighton has loved family history since she started indexing the 1940 census as a Beehive. She has held various church callings for family history for over 11 years, and currently serves as the stake temple & family history co-chair in the Mesa West YSA stake. Specializing in researching her Amish ancestors, she also does a lot of work on French lines and loves helping people use resources including Find-a-Grave and Ancestry.com.  The joy of her life working as an ordinance worker in the Mesa Temple, especially in the baptistry.
