We will discuss how to access: SLC Land surveys, various differing copies of the 1850 (1851) US Territorial Population Census and NON-population schedules, 1852 Bishop’s Reports (used as a census), 1856 US Utah Territorial Statehood census, 1860 US Utah Territorial census, 1870-1880 US Utah Territorial NON-population schedules, Tax lists, Nauvoo Legion/Territorial Militia records, the Utah State Archives, Church History Library Catalog, Daughter of Utah Pioneers, Sons of Utah Pioneers, and more!

Accredited Genealogist Peggy Ash specializes in United States Southwest Region. She co-leads a Level 2 and 3 Study Group for the International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists (ICAPGen) in the spring and fall. DNA is one of her specialties. As a child of professional genealogists, she has been around genealogy for most of her life. She acquired the Boston University Certificate in Genealogical Research in 2018 and has certificates from 4 courses at the Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh and 7 certificates from courses at the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy.
