Heritage Series Presents Black Wings Over AZ
As the first Black military aviators in the United States Armed Forces during World War II, the Tuskegee Airmen fought our wartime enemies as well as the twin evils of racism and discrimination in both military and civilian life. Colonel Richard “Dick” Toliver USAF, retired, recounts the remarkable stories of 19 of these courageous men who have ties to Arizona. Join us for what is sure to be an interesting and informative presentation by Colonel Toliver on Thursday, April 24, 2025, 7:00 pm, in the multipurpose room of the Mesa Temple Visitors’ Center.
