Sunday Evening Recital Series: Studio of Jennie Rhodes – September 27, 2026

Jennie Rhodes’ studio comprises adult violinists who began playing as children and either continued their training or returned to it later in life—finding it as rewarding now as it was then. Many are active contributors to the region’s musical life, serving as school orchestra directors, private instructors, members of community and regional orchestras, freelance performers, and church musicians. Sunday’s program will present both classical and sacred works, reflecting the proficiency and depth these players bring to their music. Jennie brings over 25 years of performance and teaching experience to her work with these musicians, dedicated to the broader principle affirmed by this recital: that worthwhile musical development is not confined to childhood, and that the rewards of artistic growth, performance, and community only deepen with continued pursuit.
