Sunday Evening Recital Series: Tami Petersen Family – September 13, 2026

Making music is one of the favorite pastimes in the Petersen Family!  As a family with six children, spontaneous singing and harmonizing happens quite often, and when an instrument is played, other family members jump in and join a fun and creative musical environment!   One of the Petersen Family traditions has been to put on musical programs for local rest-homes: from patriotic or folk songs, to spiritual or Christmas programs.  At Christmas time, caroling to neighbors & friends has become a family priority.  During the pandemic, they stretched their musical limits more, and found it especially fun to sing choral music with many parts.  As the family has grown, more family members have been welcomed in as the older children have chosen spouses.  These new family members have happily joined their voices in this fun-filled family choir!
