Looking for a fun, free and easy holiday activity for families? Come visit the Mesa Temple Visitors’ Center to make an ornament and enjoy a puppet show!
Beginning Saturday, Nov. 30, thru Saturday, Dec. 21, the children’s ornament-making session will be every Saturday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings at 10:30 and 11:15 a.m., with a puppet show between.
The Giving Machine, the “vending machine” that works in reverse by providing users an opportunity to donate a variety of much-needed items for local and global charities, will open to the public on Nov. 15 at Hale Centre Theatre Courtyard in Gilbert, where it will remain through Jan. 1, 2025. Additional machines will be located at the Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale from Nov. 16 to Jan. 1, 2025.
The beautiful grounds of the Mesa Arizona Temple, 101 S. LeSueur, will light up with Christmas spirit this year from Friday, Nov. 29, through Monday, Dec. 30. The lights will be on each evening from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event is free.
